S.A.R.G. Meet at Rosebery St. Peter’s Community Centre on the second to last Tuesday in the month.  The group usually meets in the Beale Room at 6.45p.m. All people are welcome.
The group have links with Charnwood Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council and Loughborough University.

The meetings are held every Sunday from 1.0p.m. to 6.0p.m.  in the Spectrum Centre which is at the rear of the main community building.

This independently run, multi-cultural Community Centre is situated between the Town Centre and Loughborough University.  The area is made up of mainly terraced houses occupied by a wide variety of people from young families and students to the elderly (many of whom have lived here all their lives).

The centre has three free standing buildings, all used for a variety of activities.

The centre is used by a wide number of groups of people.  During the day we have our service groups i.e. Playgroup, Stroke Clubs, Yoga, Residents Association all these are run by volunteers.  In the evening the centre is hired and used by variety of groups (see What’s On list), these are our Member groups.  The centre is also used at the weekends for private parties, weddings, discos, jumble sales etc.

The centre is run by a Management Committee made up of representatives from all user/member/associated groups.  We are also supported by individual members and councillors from our funding bodies.  We are mainly self-funded, although we do receive an annual grant from Leicestershire County Council and Charnwood Borough Council to assist in the running of the centre.

Rosebery St. Peter’s enjoys a positive and happy relationship with other Community Centres and Community Groups in Loughborough and our members and staff are involved with other groups and committees throughout the town.

At the present time we have three paid posts – Centre Co-ordinator, part-time Centre Cleaner and Premises Officer funded by the centre.

THE SPECTRUM CENTRE IS SITUATED AT THE REAR OF THE MAIN COMMUNITY BUILDING.

THIS FACILITY IS HAS A SMALL KITCHEN, DISABLED TOILET AND ROOM CAPACITY FOR 50 PEOPLE.

THE CURRENT HIRE CHARGE FOR THIS BUILDING IS £18.00 PER HOUR PLUS A DAMAGES DEPOSIT OF £85.00

Boxing Club meet Monday and Wednesday Evenings 6.30p.m. – 8.00p.m. in the Old Mission Church.

Coffee Morning operates most Saturdays between 10.0a.m. and 12 noon.

Anyone is welcome to drop into the Beale Room during this session.

Playgroup operates Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at present 9.15a.m. till 12 noon during Term time only.

Children from the age of 2years up to school age (5yrs).  Children still in Nappies are also welcome.

A Registration fee of £5.00 is required.  Each session costs £2.50  

Qualified Staff operate this group.

The Children learn to recognise their name card, nursery rhymes, weather conditions, numeracy, colours.  There is always a story at the end of each session.  They attend playgroup to learn to interact and socialise with other children and adults.  There are a varied assortment of toys and activities for all the children to participate in.

This group celebrate festivals and events during the academic year i.e.

Chinese New Year, Valentines Day, Mothering Sunday, Easter, Diwali, Eid, Halloween, Bon fire night, Town Fair, Christmas.

The Photographer is invited to take portrait photographs of the children a couple of times a year at reasonable prices.

A News letter is issued regularly keeping parents informed about events, holiday breaks, Ofsted Inspections.
